STEVEN FINIZIO

Steven Finizio is recognized as one of the leading international arbitration lawyers in London in the Chambers UK Guide, named in the Euromoney Guide to the World's Leading Experts in Commercial Arbitration and recognized for his standing in the field of international arbitration in Legal 500, Chambers Global, Chambers Europe, Global Arbitration Review's Who's Who in International Arbitration, PLC Which Lawyer? and Legal Media Group's The Best of the Best. Mr. Finizio has been resident in the firm's London office since 2000.

Guy Hewitt is the former High Commisioner of Barbados in London. Hewitt has been a strong advocate for the Commonwealth of Nations and Small Island Developing States (SIDS).

Penehuro Lefale

Penehuro Lefale has a postgraduate degree in International Environmental Legal Studiesand Bachelor of Science (Physics & Mathematics) degree. In his early career, he worked with a team to develop the language for the Kyoto Protocol and worked with negotiating teams during the UNFCCC Conference of Parties meetings. In his professional career, he was the Climate Coordinator for the Secretariat of the Pacific Regional Environment Programme, a Pacific Climate Analyst with New Zealand’s National Institute for Water and Atmospheric Research, Scientific Officer of the World Climate Program in the World Meteorological Organization, and International Affairs Office Manager in the International Affairs Office of the Meteorological Service of New Zealand, Ltd. Serving as the lead author for the Chapter on Small Islands for Working Group II of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, in 2007, he earned a Nobel Peace Prize with his climate colleagues. Areas of research interest include: indigenous knowledge systems and climate science, climate interventions, and weather and climate extremes in the Pacific Islands Region.
